Balcony and shop awning (in cassette)
The weight of the awning is distributed between the arm holders and the roller tube, so the Italia awning can be mounted even where the strength of the ground does not allow the use of a terrace awning with foldable arms. The Italia Selt awning has retractable aluminum arms, equipped with a spring that tightens the fabric and prevents the arms from folding under wind pressure. We can optionally install an electric drive with automation and LED lighting on the awning.
The Italia balcony and shop awning with a cassette is a window and balcony awning designed to shade and cover window recesses, shop windows, balconies, terraces and verandas. The cover will work well as a shop awning over the entrance to the facility. Handles at the ends of the winding tube and separately mounted arms make installation much easier. The structural elements are powder-coated in five standard colors.
The lightness of the awning combined with several handles allow it to be made in sizes suitable for most balconies. The maximum width is 5 m and the projection is up to 1.8 m.

Awning Measurement
The Italia awning is made to measure. When it comes to width, there are no standard sizes. The maximum width is 500 cm and the reach is 100 cm or 140 cm. When ordering or pricing, we always provide the total external width of the awning, including the handles. The reach is the degree of extension of the awning.
Awning Tilt Angle

The awning has an adjustable tilt angle that can be adjusted to your needs
The awning can be attached to the wall, ceiling or recess. Wall and ceiling mounts are standard, but recess mounting requires an additional charge. Installing the awning is actually very simple and is limited to attaching the brackets, e.g. to the wall or ceiling. The awning is fully assembled and adjusted. If necessary, we can also freely set the tilt angle.

Awning Drive and Automation
- As standard, the awning is equipped with a manual drive, controlled by a crank (no extra charge)
- For an additional fee, the awning can be equipped with an electric motor that automatically retracts the awning. This engine is also available in a version with emergency opening, i.e. an additional crank that allows you to control the awning manually
- You can choose a wireless remote control with a control unit for the awning with a motor
- For the awning with a motor, you can choose a Wind sensor or a Vibration sensor
Awning Fabric Colors
We offer over 100 different colors of fabrics (striped and single-color). All fabrics are produced by a renowned European company. They are distinguished by color fastness, high resistance to light and weather conditions, tear resistance under high stress, air permeability and water resistance.
The fabrics are made of 100% acrylic and coated with Teflon. This creates an excellent protective barrier and also prevents dirt from sticking to the material.
