As standard, the awning is equipped with a manual drive, controlled by a crank (standard length 150 cm at no extra charge). For an additional fee, the awning can be equipped with an electric motor. This motor is available in a standard version and with emergency opening (the awning can be rolled up in the event of a power outage).
The AXIS RED awning motor is the most typical and reliable wired model. Mechanical setting of limit switches. The tubular motor is designed to operate continuously for up to 4 minutes. After approximately 4 minutes of continuous operation, the thermal protection will turn off the motor for approximately 20 minutes. A standard roller shutter switch or automation is required to operate this motor. The engine can be connected to any automation, e.g. Yooda, Somfy.
