The GUMAXGLAS Terrace Roofing
The GUMAXGLAS Terrace Roofing is made of aluminum that undergoes a special anodizing process to protect it from external factors. The roof, made of safety glass, provides protection against excessive heating and is characterized by high resistance. The standard construction is equipped with a front gutter that directs water to the front supports. A frequently chosen option by customers is the LED lighting of the roofing in the form of spotlights or multicolored LED strips.
The GUMAX terrace roofing features powder-coated aluminum profiles in white or anthracite with a choice of classic (rounded profiles) or modern finish (profiles with straight corners). Differences in construction styles can be seen in the roofing gallery. The roofing material is made of so-called “safety glass” with a thickness of 8.76 mm, available in clear or frosted (matte) versions.
It is characterized by high resistance to shocks, impacts, such as hailstorms. If the roof is damaged, it does not create dangerous sharp shapes that could easily cut a child or an adult but breaks into pieces with smooth edges. The product can be enhanced with shading in the form of an upper vertical sunscreen placed under the roofing. The construction can also be enclosed on the sides or front with sliding safety glass or polycarbonate walls along with a skylight.
The roofing is designed for areas not exceeding a width of 12.06 meters and a projection of 4 meters

Detailed dimensions of the roof structure are available on the technical data page. When placing an order or requesting a quote, always provide the total external width of the roof.
Modern terrace roofing
Enclosing a terrace with glass and incorporating lighting is an excellent solution that combines functionality in protecting against weather conditions with aesthetic illumination of the space. A illuminated terrace creates a pleasant evening atmosphere, allowing the terrace to be used even after dark. By using LED strips for terrace lighting under the roofing, you can achieve gentle, subtle light that is not only suitable for relaxation but also adds elegance and a unique character to the entire space. This innovative combination provides not only practical protection but also aesthetic and cozy lighting, making the terrace an ideal place to spend time at any time of day or night
Why Tempered Glass is a Popular Choice
The roofing of the shelter is made of the so-called “tempered glass” 8.76mm, which is characterized by high resistance to shocks and impacts, such as hail. If the roof is damaged, it does not create dangerous sharp shapes that a child or adult could easily cut themselves on, but instead breaks into pieces with smooth edges. The significant durability of the roof against weather conditions does not compromise its aesthetic values – we offer transparent or frosted (matte) glass.
