Guide information – Exterior Venetian Blinds C80

Exterior Venetian Blinds c80 can have various types of side guides: Slatted (the most popular), Flush-mounted, Frame-mounted.

1. Strip guides. Installation in a recess

1. Strip guides. Installation in a recess – in this variant and example, the blind is mounted in the window recess using angle brackets (of course, you can also use any other handles). Due to their compact design, angle handles are perfect for use in window recesses. These handles have “smooth” adjustment and are available in 3 different lengths (50-70 | 70-100 | 100-145). In typical window recesses, the lowest handle, i.e. 50-70, works best. The width and height of the blinds are defined as the external total dimensions.

2. Strip guides. Installation in a recess

2. Strip guides. Installation in a recess – in this variant and example, the blind is mounted in the window recess without handles. The guides are screwed directly to the side of the recess. We drill the guides ourselves, which will make installation easier. The width and height of the blinds are defined as the external total dimensions.

3. Concealed guides. Installation in a recess

3. Concealed guides. Installation in a recess – in this variant and example, the blind is mounted in the window recess, while the guides are available in a flush-mounted version. They consist of 2 parts, thanks to which we can quickly dismantle the PVC strip (on which the slat pin moves). In this variant, the width is measured between the guides (i.e. the width of the recess), while the height is the total value of the system.

4. Door frame guides. Installation in a recess – in this variant and example, the blind is mounted in the window recess, directly, using special frame guides. The guides are painted to match the color of the structure. They consist of 2 parts, thanks to which we can quickly dismantle the PVC strip (on which the slat pin moves). The width and height of the blinds are defined as the external total dimensions.

5. Strip guides. Installation outside the recess

5. Strip guides. Installation outside the recess – in this variant and example, the blind is mounted outside the recess, using angle brackets (you can, of course, also use any other handles). We use straight handles mainly when installing strip guides to the building facade. The large base of the holder allows for secure fixing, e.g. to facade plaster. When installing blinds in one plane, only handles with standard adjustment, i.e. 50-70 mm, are used. Handles with greater adjustment (70-100 and 100-170) are used in extreme cases. The width and height of the blinds are defined as the external total dimensions.
