The optional awning canopy protects the most critical places, i.e. the rolled up fabric and the area around the awning motor. Installing the half-cassette with wall mounting consists primarily of connecting the awning wall bracket with the canopy bracket, then firmly mounting the structure on the bracket and screwing in the side caps. In the case of an awning mounted to the ceiling, it is a bit more complicated because more brackets are used. The awning canopy is made entirely of aluminum and powder-coated in several colors. It is a universal structure and can be used for virtually any type of awnings available on the market. To maintain its stability, the number of canopy supports should correspond to the number of awning holders specified by the manufacturer.
Universal wall brackets are used to mount the canopy. In some situations, it may be necessary to cut off part of the handle so that it does not interfere with the proper installation of the awning. The lower part of the handle is then cut off, as in the case of the Malta awning, which has its own extreme handles, and the canopy itself is mounted on separate ones. More information can be found in the assembly instructions for the Malta Selt awning – link at the bottom of the page.
Installing the canopy with a ceiling mount requires screwing the ceiling bracket with the wall bracket, to which the canopy bracket must be attached. The top cover of the canopy should be inserted into the wall brackets using the canopy bracket. Depending on the required situation, the ceiling and wall mounts can be combined in various ways.
The wall bracket must be screwed together with the ceiling bracket. The upper cover of the canopy should be inserted into the wall brackets (using the canopy bracket)
Additional holes should be made in the ceiling bracket (in the places marked in the photos below), and then the wall and ceiling brackets should be screwed together in such a position that the awning can be mounted to the ceiling above the canopy profile cover.
