S – blind width
The photo shows a typical installation in a recess. To determine the dimensions of the blinds, you can use, for example, this example. WIDTH S = Measure the size of the recess and then make a small “clearance”, e.g. 0.5 cm per side. For example, the measured size of the recess is 102 cm, so from this dimension we subtract 0.5 cm per side and we get the width of the blind –i.e. 102-0.5-0.5 = 101 cm If the recess is curved, it should be taken into account always take the smallest dimension.
H – blind height
The photo shows a typical installation in a recess. To determine the dimensions of the blinds, you can use, for example, this example. HEIGHT H = Measure the size of the recess (e.g. from the top of the recess to the bottom of the window sill), and then make a small “clearance”, e.g. 0.5 cm at the top and bottom. For example, the measured dimension of the recess is 155 cm, so from this dimension we subtract 0.5 cm from the top and bottom and we get the height of the blinds – i.e. 155-0.5-0.5 = 154 cm If at the top, the recess is curve, the smallest dimension should always be taken into account.
