S = Recess width

To measure the width, we provide the dimension of the recess, i.e. the outer, extreme dimension of the window recess.
ATTENTION! This is not the total width of the blinds with guides as in the case of other installation methods!

H = blind height

Measuring the height of the blinds using slatted guides with a cover sheet. When ordering, we provide the total height H, i.e. the outermost dimension from the bottom of the guide to the end (upper part) of the blind. Please note that the cover sheet only covers the upper part of the slats and does not increase the entire dimension of the blinds

Installation guidelines:

The use of a concealed guide system is recommended when installing a blind system in deep window recesses. Its use does not reduce the light of the window opening compared to other guide systems. When using a system with a concealed guide, only a sheet metal cover is available without side covers, the width of the cover is equal to the width of the window recess.

Installation of the mounting profile in the window recess.

Guidelines for mounting the mounting profile:

– The length of the installed profile is equal to the full height of the blinds – 50 mm.
– Installation of the profile in the window recess is shown in Fig. 2.
– The installation of the profile must ensure its immobile mounting to the ground and its linearity and perpendicularity in relation to the blind system. If the mounting profile is embedded in a surface that does not provide sufficient stability, it is necessary to construct a substructure supporting the mounting profile and ensuring its appropriate stability and linearity and perpendicularity in relation to the blind system.
– Profiles must be installed parallel to each other in all planes.
– The installation must ensure that the upper edge of the mounting profile is flush with the surface of the plaster/insulation or finishing treatment of the recess, and flush with the upper plane of the cover sheet.
– Mechanical anchoring of the mounting profile is allowed so that the fastening element does not protrude more than 4 ÷ 5 mm above the internal surface of the profile, Fig. 3.
– When installing the profile, it should be protected against damage or dirt as a result of assembly or finishing work.

NOTE: The use of a concealed guide system requires preliminary preparation of the facility for the installation of blind systems. The buyer is obliged to properly install the mounting profile on his own.
