Below is one of the examples of Measuring Exterior Venetian Blinds C80/Z90

variant 5

Installation outside the recess, guides on holders for the building facade, built-in or unbuilt sheet metal

Guide Holder Type 4 – telescopic

  • 50-70mm
  • 70-100mm
  • 100-170mm

S – blind width

y – insulation layer
x – width of the guide

The photo shows a typical installation on a wall or facade. Measuring the width of the blinds when installing them in the window recess. using a built-in cover sheet. WIDTH A = We always specify the outermost value between the guides. To determine the width in our drawing, we can use an example. We assume that our window recess has a layer of insulation on the sides with a thickness of Y=5cm. The mounting of the guides (their holders) must be outside this insulation layer. To determine the width to order blinds, measure the window recess, e.g. 80cm and add a layer of insulation Y = 5cm and add the width of the guide X (flat guide isX =2cmor round guide X=4cm).
We get the result: 80cm + (2 x 5cm) + (2 x 2cm) = 94cm
The received value is the minimum width for which we should order the blinds. For safety reasons, however, it is worth rounding this value, e.g. to 90 cm.

H – blind height

The photo shows a typical installation on a wall or facade. HEIGHT H = Measure the dimensions of e.g. the recess (e.g. from the top of the recess to the bottom of the window sill), and then, depending on the installation needs, add e.g. the min. 17cm. For example, the measured height of the recess is 150cm. We add, for example, 17cm and we get the value for ordering blinds, i.e. 167cm

Installation on a facade with insulation – width measurement

Measuring the width of the blinds when installing them in the window recess. using a built-in cover sheet.

Facade installation – height measurement

Measuring the height of the blinds when installing them on the building’s facade using a TYP3 cover sheet from the front and top (additionally, we use caps on the sides, which are invisible in the photo). Strip guides are used. The blind handles are attached directly to the façade. When ordering, please specify H

dimension

Venetian Blinds c80 – dimensions and depth of the cassette

Measuring the width of the blinds when installing them in the window recess. using a built-in cover sheet.

P – Height of the slat package
B – Height of the cover plate
G – Depth of main handle (12cm)
S – Length of the guide handle

Venetian Blinds z90 – cassette dimensions and depth

P – Height of the slat package
B – Height of the cover plate
G – Depth of main handle (12cm)
S – Length of the guide handle

Installation of blinds in modular versions

Installation of blinds in modular versions

Width measurement during modular installation (blinds are placed in a module, i.e. one next to the other, using a common guide in the middle) on the insulation layer – Installation of guides using telescopic handles

Width measurement

WIDTH Ai.e. the outer, extreme dimension of the blinds with guides (up to the central axis of the guide)
WIDTH B i.e. the outer, extreme dimension of the blinds with guides (up to the central axis of the guide)
S WIDTH, i.e. the outer, extreme dimension of both blinds with guides. This is the width of the entire module (in this case a double module, composed of two blinds)

Handles used:

Type 2 – telescopic(for mounting the modular guide to the window frame)

  • 50-70mm
  • 70-105mm
  • 100-170mm
