S – blind width
y – insulation layer
x – width of the guide
The photo shows a typical installation on a wall or facade. Measuring the width of the blinds when installing them in the window recess. using a built-in cover sheet. WIDTH A = We always specify the outermost value between the guides. To determine the width in our drawing, we can use an example. We assume that our window recess has a layer of insulation on the sides with a thickness of Y=5cm. The mounting of the guides (their holders) must be outside this insulation layer. To determine the width to order blinds, measure the window recess, e.g. 80cm and add a layer of insulation Y = 5cm and add the width of the guide X (flat guide isX =2cmor round guide X=4cm).
We get the result: 80cm + (2 x 5cm) + (2 x 2cm) = 94cm
The received value is the minimum width for which we should order the blinds. For safety reasons, however, it is worth rounding this value, e.g. to 90 cm.
H – blind height
The photo shows a typical installation on a wall or facade. HEIGHT H = Measure the dimensions of e.g. the recess (e.g. from the top of the recess to the bottom of the window sill), and then, depending on the installation needs, add e.g. the min. 17cm. For example, the measured height of the recess is 150cm. We add, for example, 17cm and we get the value for ordering blinds, i.e. 167cm
