Open Roller Sun Screen XS – electric drive

Open Roller Sun Screen can be controlled manually or mechanically using modern motors compatible with remote controls and smartphones. It is also possible to add weather automation and group control to them. Thanks to such solutions, the blinds will raise or lower themselves depending on the weather outside on a given day. The engines are available in a version without a control unit (can be controlled with a wired key or any automation – options 1,2,3 below) and with a built-in control unit (controlled only by remote control – options 4,5,6 below).

1. AXIS Standard engine

The Sun Screen AXIS Open Roller motor is the most typical and reliable model. Mechanical setting of limit switches. The tubular motor is designed to operate continuously for up to 4 minutes. After approximately 4 minutes of continuous operation, the thermal protection will turn off the engine for approximately 20 minutes. To operate this motor, a standard roller shutter switch or automation (control unit + remote control) is required. The engine can be connected to any automation, e.g. Yooda, Somfy.

2. ELERO Vari Eco engine

Elero wired motor for Open Roller Sun Screen. To operate this motor, a standard roller shutter switch or automation (control unit + remote control) is required. The engine can be connected to any automation, e.g. Yooda, Somfy.

3. Somfy LS40 engine

Somfy LS40 Mercure wired motor for Open Roller Sun Screen. It has mechanical limit switch settings. To operate this motor, a standard roller shutter switch or automation (control unit + remote control) is required. The engine can be connected to any automation, e.g. Yooda, Somfy.

4. AXIS Radio engine

The AXIS-Radio Sun Screen Open Roller motor has a built-in control unit and electronic limit switch setting. The tubular motor is designed to operate continuously for up to 4 minutes. After approximately 4 minutes of continuous operation, the thermal protection will turn off the engine for approximately 20 minutes. To operate this engine, a RED remote control that connects wirelessly to the built-in receiver is required.

5. Somfy ALTUS RTS engine

The Somfy Altus RTS Open Roller Sun Screen motor has electronic limit switch settings and a built-in RTS control unit. This means that we operate the awning wirelessly. For this purpose, you need to purchase a Somfy RTS series remote control. You can also use any weather automation from the RTS series.

6. Somfy SUNEA SCREEN IO engine

SMotor for Open Roller Sun Screen Somfy Sunea Screen IO is a drive with a built-in control unit in the bidirectional “IO” (homecontrol) system. Bidirectional communication in the io system allows you to read the status of the roller blind fabric position on the remote control or mobile device. A remote control from the “IO” line is required to operate the engine. Possibility to use any automation from the “IO” line. Motor with electronic limit switch settings.
