The armor of an external roller is a component that may be subject to damage. Simultaneously, it is the part of the roller that can be easily replaced without the need to purchase the entire system. In our store, you will find three types of roller armor to choose from:
PA 39, PA 43, PE 41.
They differ primarily in height, profile thickness, and the weight of the armor per square meter.
The armor of the external roller PA 39 is made of aluminum and filled with polyurethane foam. It is characterized by a small width – only 39 mm and a slim shape (profile thickness 9 mm). The use of PA 39 armor allows for the creation of a roller with a large surface area that still has excellent winding properties and fits even in a small box. The high-quality aluminum sheet used for the armor exhibits excellent resistance to atmospheric conditions. Thanks to the polyurethane foam filling in the profiles, the armor is characterized by high rigidity and durability. The relatively light weight of the armor (3 kg per 1m2) of the external roller allows for manual control, which is easy to operate and does not require the use of force.
The armor of the external roller PA 43 is also made of aluminum filled with polyurethane foam. The product boasts excellent technical parameters (profile height of 43 mm and thickness of 8.8 mm). The shape and construction of the PA 43 armor, along with its winding diameters, allow for the creation of a roller with very large dimensions. It performs exceptionally well as a cover for facade windows or patio doors. The outstanding resistance to atmospheric conditions is attributed to the high-quality aluminum sheets used for the armor’s construction. The polyurethane foam filling ensures high durability and proper rigidity for the PA 43 armor. This type of external roller armor is also characterized by its low weight – only 2.6 kg per 1m2 of the roller.
The armor of the external roller PE 41 is particularly recommended as a security roller. The profiles are made of extruded aluminum, exhibiting excellent strength and durability parameters (profile height of 41 mm and thickness of 8.5 mm). The material used for profile production is a high-quality aluminum alloy, coated with a powder coating that provides increased resistance to wear and atmospheric factors. It is worth noting that the PE 41 armor has a relatively high weight – 7 kg per 1m2 of the roller. Therefore, the use of electric control is recommended for an external roller with this type of armor.
