Surface-mounted external blinds – room protection and a decorative element of the facade
Surface-mounted external blinds serve various functions, particularly acting as sun protection and thermal insulation. The use of external facade blinds allows for reducing heat loss through windows and doors while providing excellent protection against intense sunlight.
External roller blinds from our offer can be equipped with boxes of various shapes. We offer the following options:
– rectangular boxes (SK),
– semi-circular boxes (SKP),
– round boxes (SKO).
All box models are available in the same color palette, which can be matched to the color of the armor. The rich selection of colors for external blinds allows for blending in or standing out from the facade and surroundings.
Facade external blinds can be equipped with one of the three available types of armor:
– PA 39,
– PA 43,
– PE 41.
The armors come in a rich palette of standard colors. Additionally, for an extra charge, it is possible to make the armor in a wood-like color palette. Armor models differ in height, profile thickness, and the weight of the roller per 1m2. The minimum and maximum dimensions of the roller also vary depending on the chosen armor model.
Regardless of the selected box shape and armor model, there is an option to apply an optional mosquito net. In our facade blinds, snap mosquito nets are used.
Adaptive external roller blinds can be mounted in several ways:
– In the window recess (left-handed and right-handed),
– On the building facade,
– Inside the building (on the wall).
Depending on the chosen mounting method for the surface-mounted external roller blinds, attention should be paid to the need for electrical connection preparation (for electric external roller blinds) or drilling through the wall or window frame (for manual external roller blinds).
When selecting the roller blind mounting method and depending on its dimensions, as well as the use of an optional mosquito net, suitable guides for external roller blinds are also chosen. This selection is tailored to the estimated external roller blind, and in our configurator, you can choose only those guides that are suitable for your roller blind. Additionally, there is an option to order additional covers for the guides.
Surface-mounted external roller blinds from our offer can be operated in two ways:
1. **Manual Rolling:**
– Cord winder,
– Tape winder,
– Concealed tape winder (individually priced),
– Crank tape winder (additional paid option).
2. **Electric Control:**
– For electric external roller blinds, we offer a selection of motors tailored to the size of the roller blind. Several types of motors are available, allowing customers to purchase external roller blinds that meet their expectations, needs, and budget. The available motors include:
– Motors with mechanical limit switches: In these motors, the limit positions of the roller blind (up and down) are set using a knob or button on the motor. Setting the limit positions requires removing the inspection flap at the bottom of the roller blind box.
– Motors with electronic limit switches: In these motors, the limit positions of the roller blind (up and down) are set using a mounting cable or (for motors with a radio receiver) a remote control. Setting the limit switches does not require opening the inspection flap in the external roller blind box.
– Motors equipped with obstacle detection: These are motors with electronic limit switches that, thanks to a built-in sensor, stop if they encounter resistance during the operation of the roller blind.
– Radio-controlled motors (RTS and IO): These motors have a built-in radio receiver, allowing them to be operated with a remote control. We offer motors working in two radio wave technologies: RTS and IO.
