The Dakar Selt terrace awning is a full-cassette structure that is perfect for shading larger terraces. The full, streamlined cassette gives this awning a modern and elegant look while protecting the fabric and arms against weather conditions. To further increase the protection of the fabric, safety seals are used inside the cassette.
Terrace awning Dakar Selt
The Dakar Selt Terrace Awning is a full-cassette construction at its best. In the closed position, only the oval cassette is visible which completely covers the arm structures. The awning elements are powder coated in five standard colors. The awning can be optionally fitted with an electric drive with automatic control and LED lighting.
The Dakar Selt Terrace Awning is perfect for shading larger terraces. A full streamlined cassette gives this awning a modern and elegant look, at the same time protecting the fabric and arms from the weather. To further increase the protection of the fabric, protective seals were used inside the cassette. The awning uses folding arms made of aluminum alloy, which are mounted on console handles. Precision joints with a chain of stainless steel Flyer ensure their durability and reliable operation.
The very durable structure of the terrace awning allows it to be made in large sizes. The maximum width is 6 m and the projection is even 3.6 m.

Accessories for Awnings
The awning can be additionally equipped with various accessories. The most popular is LED lighting, which is located on the arms of the awning. The lighting is switched on and off using the remote control.
Front beam supports are also a popular option to stabilize the awning during strong winds.
The awning can also be installed on a wall insulated with, for example, polystyrene (up to 20 cm), without cutting it out (we use a special chemical kit).

Awning Measurement
The Dakar Selt terrace awning is made to measure. When it comes to width, there are no standard sizes. The maximum width is 600 cm and the reach is 360 cm. When ordering or pricing, we always provide the total external width of the awning, including the handles. The reach is the degree of extension of the awning.

Awning installation
The awning comes standard with wall mounts (1). For an additional fee, we can purchase brackets for the ceiling (2) or roof rafters (3). Installing the awning is actually very simple and is limited to attaching the brackets to the wall. The awning is fully assembled and adjusted. If necessary, we can also freely set the angle of inclination.

Awning Drive and Automation
- As standard, the awning is equipped with a manual drive, controlled by a crank (no extra charge)
- For an additional fee, the awning can be equipped with an electric motor that automatically retracts the awning. This engine is also available in a version with emergency opening, i.e. an additional crank that allows you to control the awning manually
- You can choose a wireless remote control with a control unit for the awning with a motor
- For the awning with a motor, you can choose a Wind sensor or a Vibration sensor
Fabric Colors
We offer over 100 different colors of fabrics (striped and single-color). All fabrics are produced by a renowned European company. They are distinguished by color fastness, high resistance to light and weather conditions, tear resistance under high stress, air permeability and water resistance. They are made of 100% acrylic and coated with Teflon. This creates an excellent protective barrier and also prevents dirt from sticking to the material.
