Venetian Cable blinds – types of handles

Venetian Blinds on cable guides and its individual components can be mounted on various types of brackets. Below we present the most popular solutions.
Application in Selt’s Venetian Blinds: C50L, C80L, Z90L

Venetian Blinds has an aesthetic aluminum cable with a special braid. The tension cable is attached to the ground or to the window frame/wall using a handle that is screwed to the window frame or building facade. The handle has a special spring tension that ensures optimal cable tension. The slats of the blinds have special holes. The cable is passed through each slat of the blind. If we mount two or more blinds next to each other, we can use one modular holder that attaches two cables at the same time. This is the so-called modular holder.

Cable fastening system with tension

Cable tension holders come in 6 different length ranges depending on your needs. In the case of standard installation, e.g. in a window recess, a handle with an adjustment range of 15-36 mm is usually used. It is used in most cases. In unusual installation situations, we can use handles with greater adjustment.

Cable handle extension

The cable tension handles can be extended with an optional three-dimensional handle.

Floor facade tensioner

When installing a cable guide to the floor, the steel guide cable is passed through the top of the floor tensioner, then gently tightened vertically and moved up the tensioner to overlap approximately 5mm on lower part attached to the ground and locked with a side Allen screw. The excess cable should be cut off so that it protrudes approx. 10 mm below the top.
